Scientist Maryam Mansoor lives in Istanbul. She specializes in metallurgical, materials, and mining engineering. She joined us on episode 203 with her two siblings, who are also scientists. The episode covered a lot of ground including the culture of Istanbul, the Information Revolution which will lead us to multiple other revolutions this century, quantum computing enabling infinite possibilities, why the world’s first trillionaire will come from materials, and the importance of science communication to the general public. She identifies the three elements of effective fiction writing. What makes a good story? Gigi breaks it down. The two wonder whether augmented and virtual reality eventually replace film as the highest form of storytelling. Are we storytelling on social media about us as characters of our life?

Hope and Rich share their experiences attending Harry Styles concerts. Hope explores the meanings behind particular songs, Harry growing into himself as an artist and human being, and how the pandemic played a large role in his reflection and pursuit of deepening relationships. She describes her experience waiting in line 4 hours for the Harry Styles Pop Up in Chicago on Michigan Avenue. We are in a new era of Harry Styles. And we’re here for it.

Over the past year and a half, Timothy and Rich have corresponded with each other, mainly through letters, about the human experience, observations of society, and the beauty of what is possible with a curious and passionate frame of mind. In this introductory episode, Timothy shares his background and experience in prison and how he’s utilized his time in solitude to better himself and create a mindset with no limitations.
