In 2011, I voluntarily lived homeless in Chicago for four months to better understand the subject and who it affects. What goes through a person's mind experiencing homelessness and what can be done? Homelessness has become more visible and discussed in cultural conversations in recent years. In this episode, I open up and share some of my experience and things I learned and applied since. How it's impact my approach to life and views of U.S. politics. Cousin Frank joins me in the farmhouse studio to guide our conversations with questions.
If you want to get a more in-depth look of the experience, I encourage you to read the memoir, Homeless but Human
